Dr Peter Stewart is the Director of the Clinic. He is a graduate from the University of Queensland and also completed his basic Ophthalmology training in Brisbane. He has been in practice on the Sunshine Coast for fourteen years, with a special interest in cataract and refractive surgery. Dr Stewart has also undertaken extensive study in refractive surgery in the United States and was the first surgeon to perform LASIK in Australia. He remains the only Ophthalmologist qualified to train others in this technique in Australia.
